Game one of the ALDS started out promising for the Twins, as they grabbed a 2-0 lead. Minnesota’s starting pitcher, Brian Duensing, learned a lesson, when you face the Yankees, you can not leave balls over the plate. As Derek Jeter hit a monstrous home run that tied the game at 2-2. Meanwhile, CC Sabathia gave the Yankees a great pitching performance. From there it was all Yankees offense as they pounded the Twins 7-2 in game one, to take a one game to none lead headed into game two on Friday. The Twins must take game two or face going down 2-0, heading back to Minneapolis for game three. Only time will tell if the Twins can be a Cinderella story.
