Alexandria, Minnesota. After an exciting win last night, the Bismarck Bobcats looked like they had no energy against their former teammate, Jake Williams. Williams was part of the national championship team from last year, and he was traded to the Fresno Monsters who then traded him to the Alexandria Blizzard. With the 5-1 loss, Bismarck now has a record of 13-8-1. Let’s give credit to Jake Williams, as he played an outstanding game in net for Alexandria. Alexandria out played the Bobcats in every facet of the game. Alexandria was ready to go from the opening 20 minutes. The Bobcats were not ready to go. They left their emotions at the VFW Sport Center. The Bobcats were lifeless tonight but Alexandria came out and were ready to rumble. To make matters worse, one of the heros from last night’s game, Dan Zawacki, suffered a broken arm and will be out until further notice. The Bobcats must pick it up next weekend as they play Aberdeen on December 3rd.
