Dallas, Texas. The former UND star had a big night, just as I predicted he would. Who could have seen this game going back and fourth? It was like a counter punch. Every time the Wild would score, Dallas would answer. To me, the turning point of the game was when Kyle scored a short handed goal. What can you say about the Zach attack? He looks awfully good in a Wild uniform. No questioning this team’s unity. I’m making a prediction right now: whoever gets to play the Wild better get ready to walk on the wild side. I’m not saying the Stanley Cup will go to St. Paul, but the Wild are clearly a threat to win it all. It takes team unity to win a Stanley Cup, and the more I see out of the Wild, their confidence builds even more, and so does the media that covers them. Whether or not they can continue to have unity will depend on injuries, and how well they play with a target on their back. I wouldn’t be surprised if you see Wild vs Black Hawks. What I saw last night was really something special. That shows a lot of heart for the Wild to win last night, especially against one of the premier teams in the league.
