After a thrilling 5-1 win on Friday the Bobcats began to play sloppy hockey and Coach Sedevie started to lose his cool on Saturday in Minot. Instead of helping his team by calling a timeout when they were ahead, Layne began to verbally attack Minot’s head coach. That seemed to have fired up Marty Murray’s team and they pummeled Layne’s team. Layne and the Bobcats were ahead of the Tauro’s by 4-2 with a little more then nine minutes left, and then the Bobcats began to become sloppy. They turned the puck over and they were not watching their men. The following nine minutes were hard to listen to, because the Tauro’s began firing pucks by Aaron Nelson, who wears the “C” for the Bobcats. Before Layne could call a time out he could only watch in horror as the Tauro’s would get a 6-4 victory. So this Wednesday morning at the VFW Sports Center might not be as fun as normal, because I am going to have to go in there and help them get fired up, and go do some damage to Travis Winter and the Aberdeen Wings, and make sure that they can feel the cold outside! If the Bobcats continue to play like peewees, this staff writer will not enjoy going to Frisco. I say that because the only one that will be talking would be Chris Tok, and I don’t want that! Layne and Garrett also know it too.
