Tampa Bay, FL. After having only one win against the Rays, the Tigers then proceeded to lose the final two games of the series. That is not the way you want to start an 11 day road trip. Not only did the Tigers lose the final two games, but there was no excuse for that. Cleveland is really close to Detroit, so the Tigers need to do something about it or they can kiss their lead good-bye! If I was David Dombrowski and Al Avila, I would get some help for their bullpen ASAP! It’s not time to pussy foot around, you have to be sending a message to the rest of you division. You need to put together a good solid road trip and put together a winning streak. I’m starting to question the heart of the Tigers, because they are supposed to be the American League Champions and yet they give away way too many games. When you wear the Old English “D” uniform, you can’t have mistakes in the bullpen, and you also can’t have mental mistakes at this point in the season. Along with what I just said, you also have to work on the pitching and hitting, except for Max Scherzer, who is nothing but brilliant when he is on the mound for Jim Leyland. We will see what happens at the Rogers Center on Toronto. I don’t care that it’s Canada Day in Canada, the Tigers just need to get this series started on the right foot. Everybody needs to be all in: catchers, hitters, and pitchers need to be all in.
