Detroit, Michigan – Just when you thought it was safe to go into Comerica Park the roar is getting louder. The Tigers showed the rest of the country, in a nationally televised game, their brand of baseball. On the mound last night it was #48 Rick Porcello. He had the art of pitching working for him through the first four innings before the Angels touch Porcello with a 5 run lead. The Tigers offense ,however, rallied from behind to put a halo on the Angels 8-6. Meanwhile, in Boston, Massachusetts the Tigers closest competitor, the White Sox, were getting hammered 5-1 by the Red Sox, cutting the White Sox’s lead down to two and a half games in the American League Central Division. The Chicago White Sox are number one in their division.
