The roar is back, and the manager who guided the Tigers to the top of the American League is back. However, there are questions going in to opening day in Minneapolis. Like, who will be the closer? I have been vehement on this web site that it should be a young man from Sonora, California, Phil Coke, because of what he did to get the Tigers to the top of the AL. He shut down one of the Evil Empires in baseball, the New York Yankees. But, obviously, Leland has his own thought process, which can make the media mad. If I had my own baseball team, I would want Phil Coke to be the closer. The Tigers made a new addition which can and will be familiar to all you Minnesota Twins people out there. Number 48 Torii Hunter is back to torment the Twins. If he stays healthy, a person could only know how many home runs he can hit. I’m going to go out on a limb and say Torii Hunter can still hit with the best of them for power. The Tigers want to avoid any injuries. I see them being capable of winning a second American League championship.
