Detroit, Michigan. Nothing ever stays the same when you are the three-time defending champions in the Central Division. First, the Tigers replaced their legendary king of the jungle Jim Leyland with Brad Ausmus. Then Dave Dombrowski traded Prince Fielder to the Rangers of all people. I admit the guy wasn’t having a good playoff, but come on man. He was still a recognizable face. Then Dave went and got Ian Kinsler, who we know nothing about except what he did when he was with the Rangers. What were you thinking when you gave Fielder to the Rangers, and you got Kinsler from the two-stepping team? I really liked Prince Fielder, because he could drive the ball. Now we are stuck with Ian who we haven’t seen anything out of yet. What were you thinking? I would like to get inside your head, Dave Dombrowski. You better keep Alex Avilla and Phil Coke, or this reporter will be disappointed. I know that it’s still early winter, but I think the Tigers should keep their core together. If they want to win a World Series, then I think that they should have Fielder. I am not Mr. Dombrowski, I am only Mr. Boyce, and that is why I choose to be a part of the media, and not the front office. I’m also glad I’m not a member of the Detroit Tigers, because I wouldn’t want to deal with Max Scherzer. The Tigers sound like they want to keep Max, and I think that is the right move. I think he is a big part of why the Tigers’ window is still open, and also why they still have a big shot at capturing the flag, as what Mr. Price likes to say.
