Many Tigers fans were questioning the Tigers’ playing ability and their starting pitching, because of the losing streak that caused the Kansas City Royals to overtake them in the standings. But after a week of that, I can now say that it looks like everything is fine once again in the Motor City. The Royals were on top of the Central Division, but it didn’t last long due to the Tigers going into Arlington, and finding out how you play championship baseball again. It has now been a week and two days since the Tigers’ last loss, which was to the Royals. Meanwhile, it seems like the Royals are in a downward spiral. This has nothing to do with the fact that the Tigers are in the weakest devision in all of baseball, along with a baseball team that seems to do nothing right the Minnesota Twins. I’m telling you folks, the Twins organization needs a new manager, but that is for another story. Brad Ausmus should get the manager of the year award, because any time you can take over for a legendary manager and still guide your team to a first place when it is almost time for the All Star break, then I think that you really opened this reporter’s eyes.
