The following is a special presentation from Jeremiahboyce.com, and it may not be used for any other publication. On a hot and steamy Saturday afternoon, I was able to gain exclusive access to the Marauders practice. Before practice began, Coach Myron Schulz told his men that “if we do it right, then we don’t have to practice again tonight!” The legendary coach was kind enough to let the media sit and watch what goes on behind the scenes as they prepared to meet the Mavericks on September 6th at 2:30pm at the Coca Cola Stadium. The Mavericks are the number one team in the country. Also in this interview, you will find out some new rules that the NCAA has imposed on the coaches. The NCAA has ruled that there will only be three two-a-days for practice. The next topic you will hear from coach Myron is how his running back gets ready to go to battle. “Dariouse has grown up a lot since he was a freshmen,” coach Schulz stated. He listens to music before battle by himself. He has also been working out in the weight room, according to head coach Schultz. The coach also said that two-a-days have been going smoothly for the orange and blue. Coach Schulz said that the boys have been working hard on some of the schemes. When it comes to punting and kickoffs, coach Schulz says that “there are no problems in that area,” because the Marauders bring back all conference punter and kickoff specialist big leg Tyler Ryan for his senior season. Tyler is the best at pinning his opponents inside the 20 yard line.
The one constant thing that we heard at the practice field was how the Marauders were working on hitting. And they are also working on ball control, so I can’t wait to see how good their ball control is when I watch them battle the Mavericks! If it’s the orange and blue you want, then Jeremiahboyce.com is your place to stay tuned to all season long! From the first down to touchdown, I will have you all covered. If you want to know how Myron feels about the way his team is performing, then you can read coach Schulz’s thoughts after every win or every loss right here on Jeremiahboyce.com.
