I had the chance to check up with Head Coach Steve Miller to talk about the Demon’s first round opponent, the Wahpeton Huskies. Miller stressed that the Demons must block out the Huskies players, one who happens to be 6′ 9″. I asked Coach Miller to talk about one of his seniors, Jordan Pintar. “He was really struggling with his shots, earlier in the season, but now he’s coming around,” Miller stated.
The Demons were led in scoring at their last match-up by Esley Thorton (24 points). “We needed everyone of them,” Miller stated, referring to that last game. The defense of the Demons State Title starts on Thursday, 2:00 pm against the Huskies at the FargoDome.
