Indianapolis, Indiana. After a disastrous season one year ago, the Indianapolis Colts do not have Peyton Manning. One thing that I did not see coming was just how well a rookie quarterback would perform in a city that he knew little about. I’m sure when he was with the Cardinal, he heard about the four-time MVP, and in a city that has long revered Manning, he was given the unenviable position of trying to replace the legendary Manning. Sure, Colts fans had every reason to give away their season tickets, but now, after hearing what the Colts have done, I am a believer in Andrew Luck. Sorry, Ryan Grigson, for this reporter’s undressing of your team. I had no idea that the Indianapolis Colts would be a number five seed in the NFL playoffs. I had the Colts pegged to win maybe one or two games, but I wasn’t sure what kind of quarterback he was going to getting in the draft. I had thought it would be even worse, like the first year Manning was in town, when the Colts went 3-13. Add to that a coach who has been fighting a deadly disease called leukemia, and you have the makings of an unforgettable story. Good job, Reggie Wayne, of staying in Indy for three years. Now the Colts have Luck on their side. This is only a first year quarterback, ladis and gentlemen, let’s not put the cart before the horse. Andrew is going into another new situation, the playoffs. I’m not sure if they will nd up in New Orleans or not, but thie will be a fun drive to cover. Because of Houston’s loss, the Colts helped out their former stallion, Peyton William Manning, because Denver is now the number one seed.
