Miami, FL. With the Indiana Pacers and the Miami Heat in deadlock, one win and it will be an ABA final. With the San Antonio Spurs waiting in the wings, I expect big things from Paul George tonight. This is where the light shines the brightest and this is also where legends are born. Paul George must play his smartest basketball of the year. No Reggie, no problem! Mr. Miller will watch a new group of legends ascend to the top of Eastern Conference. No matter what happens Pacers fans go to your arena and watch it on the big screen, because we could be making history. As for Roy, he will learn from his $75,000 fine for using vulgar language. He just got a little excited and forgot that it was on national TV. Expect Miami to come out in the first five minutes and try to get the crowd into the game, but as we know, the first 24 minutes doesn’t decide anything, it’s the whole 48 minutes that we need to be prepared to play. We have the best coach in the league in Frank Vogel. He said something on ESPN this morning that showed how he is feeling going into game seven. Frank seemed relaxed about going into tonight’s game. He said, “we are just going to go in there and try to win the Eastern Conference finals. It’s one win then we go to the NBA finals”. Again Pacers fans, please do not boo your team! If Miami wins, then we just have to get better in the off season. We did give it a great run Pacers fans, so no booing your team. Go to the airport and show your team some support either way, win or lose. It’s just a basketball game that we have to play, it’s not the end of the world. If we lose I don’t want to hear any “Tyler should’ve done this” or “Roy should’ve done that.” If I were you Pacers fans I wouldn’t look at the team negatively because Donny will try and fix it and make it better. Paul George is only 23 years old, ladies and gentlemen. Age doesn’t matter. What does matter is the heart you have for the game, and so far these Pacers have shown us a lot of heart all season long. Tonight’s game will determine the Eastern Conference champions. I’m really excited for tonight’s game, because this is the champs we are dealing with. If you would have told me heading into the series that the Pacers were going to give the Heat a battle, then I would have agreed with you. Just the simple fact that we are tied at three with the NBA champs is good enough for me. Sure, I would like to be covering Tyler in the NBA finals, but this is the Heat that we are tied with, and I’m sure proud of my Pacers either way. We won 50 ball games this year, and we won the NBA Central Division as well, and we were definitely better than Chicago. The last time we won the Central was in 1995, when we still had Reggie Miller playing for us.
