Detroit, MI. After all these years of having the Red Wings and the Blackhawks rivalries we are forced to put that rivalry to an end unless these two teams meet in the playoffs. The reason why I say that is because the Red Wings will no longer be in the same conference as the Stanley Cup winners because they have moved to the eastern conference. Out of this tragedy can also come new rivalries like Henry vs Sidney and also Alex vs Henrik. I don’t know why the Red Wings had to move to the east because there are certain rivalries that the Red Wings fans and media look forward to like the Wings vs the Hawks, and also the Wings vs the Wild at the Excel Energy Center in St. Paul. Obviously, change is something we will have to get used to but I guess it’s all about the money and the traveling, and NHL realignment. I think the realignment is stupid because why would you change the product when it has been so good over the years? I would like to be a fly on the wall in Toronto, Canada and also in New York because I just want to find out what the national hockey league is thinking. If we could ever get the commissioner on my website I would grill him with questions about the economic and travel logistics for the teams. I would also grill him about the realignment for that matter. There might be a future interview coming to this website with Gary Bettman. I most definitely am not afraid of Gary Bettman! A lot of people can say what they want about my style of writing, but they know this reporter will look hard for the truth. I will not back down from Mr. Commissioner, if he wants to feed me lies about the game he is running, he won’t be able to get away with that on this website because I will find the truth! A lot of people don’t like the way he does business, and a lot of people boo him when he goes to different arenas, but this website will ask him nicely for an interview and wait for him to come out of his hole.
