The Bobcats showed a lot of heart this weekend after being stomped on the paw on Saturday evening by a much more ready to play Minnesota Wilderness team.

Any time you take a penalty and the other team capitalizes on your mistakes, you better learn from them. I can understand the frustration coming from the home team, but when you are down 1-0, that should be the time you would want to go and kick it in gear and not to let the opposing team score any more goals on your goalie, Will Ulrich.

What I saw on Saturday was a Bobcat team that was lifeless until the third period which was too little, too late. Falling behind 4-0 to your opponent at home is absolutely stinking hockey. Coach Sedevie deserves better hockey than that from his players, especially from his veterans. Because of their effort on Saturday, the defending NAHL Central Division Champions are now tied for third place, nine points behind the first place Minot Minotauros, who they will host this Friday night at the den.

I am expecting Coach Sedevie to have the boys ready to play in this expected physical battle, just like they did last Thursday night in Minot when they came away with a hard fought 5-4 victory.
