Your Indiana Pacers no longer have the best record in the NBA. That now belongs to the Oklahoma City Thunder. Perhaps Frank forgot to give each of his players a bottle of sun screen? The Pacers only had a two point lead, and the rest of the night belonged to the Phoenix Suns. To make matters worse, Washington DC has some explaining to do, because for the second time while listening to a Pacers game, the coverage was rudely interrupted by Sirius XM. Sirius XM made me think that they would cut away from Mark and Slick, which is totally unacceptable when yours truly is trying to bring you Pacers coverage. In a couple of weeks you will get your Pacers coverage uninterrupted by Sirius XM. If this continues to be a problem, I will get to the bottom of it. It is very important to me that when I cover the Pacers I listen to the whole game from Mark and Slick, and that includes when they are on the road. When I am able to listen to the games, it gives me a better feel of the game and I am able give better coverage to my readers.

Frank Vogel made some adjustments in the second half. He put number 24, Paul George on the Suns Leandro Barbosa, who was doing most of the damage. Putting Paul George on Leandro seemed to have worked for a while, and they began to tighten the screws defensively, but at halftime the Pacers looked nothing like the best team in the NBA. The Suns were shinning all over the floor and having their way offensively and were able to get ahead by 19 points. The Pacers had a much better second half, but just couldn’t tie Phoenix up. I still think that there is cause for concern, because Frank is one of the best coaches in the NBA, and the team didn’t get to 35 wins by laying down on him. The team works very hard for Frank. I know it’s the 10th loss of the season, but you can look at how many wins Frank has helped the Pacers get, and they still have the best record in the Eastern Conference. So I don’t want to hear any negativity out of Frank or anyone for that matter! President Bird says it best. If anyone says anything negative, then they are gone.
