Atlanta, Georgia. The Indiana Pacers, after taking a 2-0 lead over the hapless Hawks, have apparently forgotten how to step on their throats, and stop them from soaring. Kyle Korver was allowed to inexcusably and inexplicably soar around the Pacers whenever he wanted to. As a result, the Pacers are one game away from going back to America’s heartland tied at two. I told you in several previous articles that the Pacers needed a defensive specialist if they were going to win an NBA championship. The Pacers may not win it in my lifetime unless they learn how to get a defensive specialist. Tyler needs to put his hands up and learn how to turn off Kyle Korver. The Pacers have two choices. They can either fall apart and look like the Pacers we have seen way too many times in 2013, or they can get a spine and grow up and as my buddy Slick Leonard would say, “turn out the lights, the party’s over.”
