Brock Osweiler could have stayed in Denver and not made the playoffs. Instead, he chose to go to where the grass was greener and where the money was calling his name and where the football was weaker and he could win a Division championship. As a result, he is Jeremiah Boyce’s clear cut favorite to win it all this year. After backing up Peyton Manning, Osweiler got a taste of what winning a championship was like one year ago. So, I wouldn’t be surprised if the Houston Texans are this year’s Denver Broncos, with AJ Watt and their defense, because defense wins championships.
In the other conference, there are two surprising stories.
