For thirteen years in Indianapolis, we got used to hearing Omaha come out of Peyton Manning’s mouth as he would look for open receivers. Now the 37 year old is one win away from his second Super Bowl, and yes he is still yelling Omaha, but this time with a new group of horses. In the twilight of his career, Manning is a first ballot hall of famer. In my opinion how could the NFL leave out Peyton Manning from Canton Ohio? I have never felt this strongly about any player before Peyton, who only has won one Super Bowl so far, but he is on the verge of getting his second, and also becoming a five time MVP. Four of the MVP awards Peyton won while he was wearing the Colts blue. If anyone wants to challenge me about Peyton Manning, then be my guest! No one can come back from four neck surgeries and be on the verge of guiding his team to a Super Bowl title which the Broncos haven’t won since they had John Elway, and that was in 1999. You wonder how much longer you will see one of the greatest quarterbacks of this era play? I don’t want to see Peyton play when he is in his forties, because if you try and play in your forties, I think that you are just asking for trouble with your neck and your body. Peyton, please listen to your heart and your body and after your five year contract is up with Denver I think that you should say it’s time to retire, because I don’t want to see you get hurt. I would also want you to know that I have enjoyed watching you play, and would like to thank you for the memories, especially in Super Bowl 41 when you went up against the Bears and beat them by 29-17.
