Austin, Minnesota. Most of you thought that the number 1 Bruins would brew trouble for the Cats, and they still might. After a disheartening 4-2 loss in game number 1, you thought it would be Chris Tok taking a 2-0 lead. But as we’ve seen at times this year, these Bismarck Bobcats have a tendency to have a little bit of the former Billings Bulls attitude in them, because of coach Sedevie. I’m not just saying that because I work for Layne’s team as their staff writer or the number of banners that hang at the Bismarck Metra. The reason why I’m saying that has a lot to do with the two gentlemen that I know well, coach Sedevie and the all-time leading scorer in franchise history, Garrett Roth. But these Bismarck Bobcats look like Tommy Reimann and Jeremy High in our city. This isn’t your average team. We have the Bruins right where we want them. Two more losses and the dream of Chris Tok and his Austin Bruins will in shambles. They have been talking smack at the Bismarck Bulls, and now they are face to face with the jaws of a bunch of angry cats. Couldn’t happen to a better franchise. Games three and four, right here at the Metra of Junior A hockey in North Dakota. You might as well call the VFW Sports Center the Metra, because there are several players from the team that I have no problems comparing to the guys who used to wear Borris on their chests. For example, you might as well call Adam Knochenmus Adam Stockler. And Rory Vessel could be Rory Kolasa. And you might as well call coach Sedevie, Bliss Littler, because he has all the mannerisms that Bliss used to have when he was Sedevie’s coach, and Sedevie has brought some of bliss to his hometown.
