Each time I go back to Century High School, it gets more fun and more exciting, because I keep running into people who recognize me from when I was a student. Even though I am there to bring my intensity level up a notch, I am there to talk to Coach Wingenbach, so that other media outlets can’t beat me to the punch. I don’t look at my job as fun and play all of the time. Just because it’s sports, it’s still my business. It is also a challenge to me, because you have so many media outlets that want to be on top. I don’t care that I am only one person, I will fight tooth and nail for the right to be called number one, and Wild Inspire knows it! I am not afraid of anybody in this town. Anybody can challenge me at any given day. All I want is for my readers to know is that I will fight to be number one and I will win. That is just how I feel, ladies and gentlemen. I have made my mark in this town over the years and I refuse to back down from anyone and anything. That has been my M.O. since 2006, and anyone who reads my site on a regular basis knows that I don’t pussy foot around. Whether it is football or Bobcat hockey, you are going to get in your face coverage, because that is the way I believe it should be done. I am sorry for my intensity level, but this is not your ordinary day in the office. This is where the big time reporter steps their game and brings you the stories that you want to hear from both of the sidelines. It’s Mark Gibson vs Ron Wingenbach, and BHS vs CHS!
