Indianapolis, Indiana. Coming off a 3-2 road trip, the Pacers have one of their biggest tests of the year tonight, when Lebron and the Heat come creeping into the heartland. Indiana now has three losses, but I don’t think that should have anything to do with how they will play the rest of the season. You win some, and you lose some, but this is a huge test to see if Larry’s work paid off over the summer or not. I don’t look at how many games the Pacers lose, I look at how many games they have won, and who they have beaten. I think that Lebron and the Heat are now facing a way different Indiana team then the ones that they discarded back in last season’s playoffs. I think this is what any Pacers fan should want. It’s the Pacers who are the hunted, and the Heat are breathing down our necks. It’s number one versus number two in the East starting tonight at 7pm Eastern time, but if you want coverage the real way you can join Kevin Lee and Mark Boyle at 6:30pm on the home of Pacers basketball on WFNI 1070. You can also listen to Bobby Slick Leonard and Boyle as they bring you the heat from Bankers Life Fieldhouse as the Pacers put the heat on high the Pacers way. Here are the keys from my perspective. You know that Mike O’Grady will have Bankers Life in a frenzy when the Heat arrive. I think he does a really good job at that. I really like the way that Pacers fans respond to Lebron. They chant “he is a flopper” which I think he is! Big players are going to have to step up, no questions about it. We need Roy Hibbert, and we need to “get the ball to the big man” as Bobby Slick Leonard likes to say. Pacers fans, we also need Bankers Life to be extremely vibrant all night long, and the Pacers need you to chant “He is a flopper”, and I know you guys will because O’Grady will have you guys wound up. Elsewhere on the hardwood, the Hoosiers play tonight as well. You can here Fish on 93.1 FM WIBC starting at 7pm Eastern time. I would also like to add that it is very rare to see the Hoosiers and the Pacers play at the same time, so anyone who is an Indiana basketball fan should be in heaven tonight! You can look forward to Jeremiahboyce.com dribbling to you in both ways. I will start you off with Boyle and Leonard, and then your basketball dessert will be Don Fischer.
