While I would like to rip into the Colts owner Jim Irsay, now is not the time. After hearing of his arrest, the 54 year old clearly needs fan support, and he doesn’t need people bashing him. Colts players have made mistakes before, and the barn has always been supportive of their players, so why shouldn’t we be supportive of our owner? I don’t know about all the facts to the arrest, yet I do know that the arrest was on drug related charges. I also know this is America and you are innocent until proven guilty. I don’t know what kind of discipline the NFL will have for Jim Irsay, but I would hope it would be getting him into a treatment program to help him. I also hope that the NFL takes care of him, because whether you love him or dislike him, he is the man that brought Andrew Luck to town, and who knows if someday his Colts might be holding up a big Lambardi trophy? I would like to think so.
