Now let’s welcome a new member of the Bobcat family, Corey Wickham. Not only does he spread his vibrant tone through your radio while you drive home, but he can also be found announcing for the Bobcats. Wickham took over for Gayland Halverson at the end of last season. Corey has a love for sports announcing. Corey had never been able to kick the door down until he was approached by the Bobcats owner Tom Brigl about the job. I think that Wickham brings his own style of announcing to the game as opposed to taking from other people. Corey is responsible for selecting the music and announcing the starting lineup for the games. He is also responsible for announcing the goals, penalties, and reminding the fans to pay attention to the activities on the ice at all times. Corey is from Mandan, and he has lived here all of his life. Corey has also memorized the entire Bobcats roster.
