San Jose was nervous Monday night and it showed in the way they played. They allowed the Penguins to gain a 2-0 lead before tying the game at 2 with just under 2 minutes left in the game. Nick Bonino, who happened to be a former draft pick for San jose, found a way to sink the Sharks back to the bottom of the ocean, giving the Penguins a one game to nothing lead for the Stanley Cup. I’m curious to find out what the NHL will do with Patrick Marleau after he made head contact with Bryan Rust. Game #2 will be in Pittsburgh on Wednesday night before the Stanley Cup will be heading to San Jose for games 3 and 4, where the Sharks will be lurking under the surface for a bite of revenge.

Tonight’s game is a very pivotal game for the Sharks, because if they go down 2 games to none, they will put themselves in an unthinkable hole. Here are Jeremiah Boyce’s 3 keys to a shark attack:
Find Nick Bonino, and put a body on every one of the Penguins.
When Martin Jones has a chance to stop the puck, he needs to read, react, and recover.
Everybody in teal needs to go to the net.
