Frisco, Texas. On Saturday, the Bison looked to do something they haven’t done since 1990, when Phil Hanson was a Thundering Herd player. The Bison beat the previously undefeated Bearkats from Sam Houston State by a score of 17-6, and got the city of Fargo the thrill of victory. It was the Bison who ran with more determination than the Bearkats. They also held the Bearkats to six points by playing very stingy defense. The Bison tasted the National Championship in FCS football. Now everyone is gunning for the herd. Brock Jensen has two more years of eligibility with the Bison. Sam Ojuri will also be back for the Herd. The Herd are in prime position to make another run at the top.
