Instead of playing baseball on Thursday afternoon, the Minnesota Twins showed a lot of class and loyalty to a city that a night earlier had experienced major trauma when the I-35W bridge cracked and sent Minneapolis-St. Paul into chaos. It was the right move for the Twins. When you have a tragedy were people’s lives are lost, you should not be playing baseball. You should be helping your city recover, if you can. Life is more important than a game. Baseball is just a game compared to what the Twin Cities went through on Wednesday night. The Twins will resume baseball activity tonight when the battle the “Tribe” for 4 games.
