With the Indiana Pacers leading the Atlanta Hawks 1-0 and the Pacers trying to put a stranglehold on Atlanta with a win this Wednesday in Indianapolis, Jeremiahboyce.com would like to congratulate Paul George on being the most improved player in the NBA. Paul’s game reminds me of Reggie Miller. The Indiana Pacers are going to continue to need Tyler, Paul and every player wearing the blue and gold uniform to step up! This is a must win game! You don’t want the Atlanta Hawks to go home with a tied series. If you do, that could spell trouble for the blue and gold. Games three and four are in Atlanta this Saturday and Monday evening. The key for the Pacers is to go ahead and step on Atlanta’s throat and make sure they can not cut the Pacers lead in half. Every game is a new game, and Tyler is going to have to forget about Sunday but still bring his best game to the court! I would expect Atlanta to make adjustments, and I also expect the Pacers to counteract whatever Atlanta tries to take away. You know they are wanting to try and take Paul and Tyler off of their game. The Pacers will have to rely on number one Lance Stephenson and some of the other players to come off the bench. They have got to quit shooting themselves in the foot, and they have to quit making the games exciting at the end. We need Pacers basketball from the beginning, ladies and gentlemen. You should know it by now, and I shouldn’t be writing these questions. How long does it take for someone to light a fire under the Pacers butts defensively? Also, somebody needs to step up on Kyle! Who is going to be the gentleman who will be responsible for taking Kyle’s game away from him? There should be no minor league basketball, just take the ball away and run with it to the other end and slam it in Hawks faces! The Pacers don’t want to give the Hawks any more momentum, and it would be nice to get out the broom and send Atlanta golfing for the rest of the season. There is no reason why the Pacers should have a half-hearted effort. Their hearts need to be in it from the opening tip-off. You want to demoralize and crush the Hawks’ dream. You don’t want to give them any life going back to Atlanta, you want them lifeless going home! I don’t care if you have to fight with Kyle tooth and nail, somebody is going to have to be on his butt the whole game and put their hands up defensively.
