Bismarck, ND. Garrett Roth and I have always been friends, but we are becoming closer ever since the late Chad Johnson had to go. It feels like Roth is stepping up and taking over a big hole in my heart which was left when Chad was untimely killed, because of the way he treats me. During the playoff run that the Bobcats have been trying to make, he has been there like a brother. While the Bobcats were trying to clinch the Central Division title at the den, he came by my post and checked on me and said, “hang in there, bud.” I could tell he was excited. Unfortunately, he now has to go with Layne to Riverside, because the team was unable to clinch at home. Whatever happens, I will always remember how Garrett has reminded me of CJ. During the 2013-14 playoffs, he has stepped up and taken over where CJ used to be. There will never be another CJ, but Garrett is quickly becoming an inspiration to me.
