Phoenix, Arizona. I really loved the racing yesterday for two reasons, because Carl Edwards finally got the monkey off his back, and reason number two was because it wasn’t Jimmy Johnson in victory lane. Johnson had to work for his 2nd place finish, and to anybody who says that “this will be the year of Johnson” well he will have to earn my respect. Five times mean no times. The longer he sits on five, the better for the sport of NASCAR, because someone will come along and break that record! Maybe Brad Keselowski will do it. The race that we saw on March 3rd proves that this year will not be dominated by Johnson. I love it. Couldn’t happen to a better driver! He has to work for his championship if he wants it. I thought it was very appropriate for Carl Edwards to win the race yesterday because he had the Subway car in victory lane. He was the freshest and the most fit driver to win yesterday.
