Jonathan Toews has lead the Hawks to be number one! He use to wear green and white from the former UND Fighting Sioux. Prior to this week, the Blackhawks were undefeated in regulation, until they ran in to the Avalanche. A big reason why the Hawks were able collect so many points early in the season was because of team unity. Another reason why the Hawks were having so much success was because of the former Fighting Sioux’s leadership. Now comes the big test when the team’s unity could crumble. But I say not so fast my friends. The Hawks have a player who knows what it means to be a leader. So what if this season is only 48 games, I think the Blackhawks are your clear Stanley Cup favorites. Whether or not they can make it to the Stanley Cup will depend on how well Jonathan handles adversity.
