Ladies and gentlemen, there is one thing that has always bothered me about sports today, and that is when coaches rip into their players and use foul language. I used to enjoy watching former Indianapolis Colts head coach Tony Dungy, because he would always sit on the sidelines quietly. You would rarely see him yell at one of his players, or cuss at a referee. In football nowadays, if a head coach cusses at a referee, they should be flagged with a 15 yard penalty. If they utter a cuss word at a ref, they should be flagged and if they get two flags they should be kicked out of the game, and the assistant coach should be allowed to take over. If they continue to berate the referee, then the owner should be present to tell the coach to knock it off. I am tired of the referees having their heads handed to them over a call that they clearly saw, and if the owners were present they would knock it off. I’m just saying, it really irritates me when a coach or a player gets into an argument with the referee.
