At any sporting event, we should stand at attention when somebody is singing the National Anthem. It is not to be screamed at, like they do in Chicago, for the Blackhawks. Tradition or not, whenever the National Anthem is being played, people should stand and honor the flag and the soldiers who serve us, instead of screaming louder than the music. When I go to a Bobcats game, or any other sporting event, I like to respect the song. I thought that I would give something for the leaders to read the next time they want to scream out during the National Anthem. That is the time when we should respect the country, not the time to scream for your team. The Blackhawks fans might get a little upset about this, but this has been going on for quite a while, and I am tired of it. Whether it is to fire the Blackhawks up or not, I do not care. When the National Anthem is over, that is the time to scream for your team. The Sheriff will be watching you during the National Anthem, and at every sporting event that I cover.
