Surprise, Surprise. What do you know if you are a high school football fan which I know that most of my readers are? What do we have here? We have another edition of the Civil War. The North Side vs the South Side, and this time it’s for a trip to where the defending FCS national champions roam. In this article you will hear from the King of High School football, and what his keys are for a devilish win. The Demons have put a devilish spell on the Coca Cola Stadium, which is on the campus of BSC. The Demons have yet to take a defeat on their home turf since 2010 and they also have a winning streak of 27 straight wins since 2010. At this time I would like to thank Coach Mark Gibson for being so warm and welcoming with the media. This was my first year of covering him, and for someone who has never met him before, this was a fun season for me. So thank you Coach Gibson from the bottom of my heart. Jeremiahboyce.com looks forward to covering you when you bring home some more hardware. As for tonight’s battle with the boys from CHS, here are Coach Gibson’s thoughts. “Hayden wasn’t really a factor in game one against the Patriots, so I am sure they are not worried about him” said Coach Gibson. Mark then went on to say that he has seen Chris Kraft on defense and in some sub-varsity games. Mark also said he thinks Kraft is a fierce competitor and I expect him to be ready. Chris Kraft is Dalton Feeney’s back up quarterback for the Patriots, since Feeney is out due to a broken wrist. When it came to Ricardo Galindo, Coach Gibson says “he will get ton of touches against the Patriots just like every other week.”
When it comes to Hayden forcing the ball, Coach said that “Hayden needs to quit trying to make plays when they are not there.” If history is correct, the Demons will be on KFYR 550 AM and if they are not on there they could also be heard on ESPN 710AM. Kickoff between the Demons and the Patriots will be at 6pm.
