On Monday night, all across the Minnesota Vikings radio network, “Sam-I-Am” Bradford was able to slay the Giants and make them fall to a record of 2-2. Eli Manning was ineffective and the Vikings’ defense was able to confuse, befuddle, and conquer him. That was a performance that the “First Family of Football” would be ashamed of themselves for. What would Payton say about Eli if he were still throwing the ball around? That’s no way a member of the “First Family of Football” should play, let alone on a national stage. As for the boys from Minnesota, their next challenge will come in the shape of Brock Osweiler, who won the championship last year as a back up to Payton William Manning. They are going to have to get after Brock and knock him on his butt. If they want to go five-for-five, they have to watch for big #99, J.J. Watt, and put him on low voltage. Their defensive line needs to be hands-on-Brock at all times. When Brock has the ball, the defense needs to be like a blanket and make sure Houston can’t go anywhere. Whoever Brock passes to, put a helmet on him right away.
