Bobcats Split Weekend!

After serving a one game suspension for his reaction of the ref making a call that he didn’t agree with, Bobcats’ Head Coach Byron Pool returned behind his teams’ bench on Saturday night against the Albert Lea Thunder. The Bobcats took control of saturday nights game early after falling 3-2 the night before. The first goal was made by #16 Jason Fabian. Second goal was by #12 Ryan Jacobson. The score would remain 2-0 until the end of the second period. The Bobcats would then explode putting the game out of reach in the 3rd with a 5 goal explosion! Final score: 7-0 The Bobcats magic number to win the Central Division title is at 3. They now will face Alexandria in Bismarck on Friday, March 5. Bismarck, ND: The Bobcats and the Outlaws will square off in a two game set beginning tonight running through Saturday. Face off is scheduled for 7:15 both nights at the VFW Sports Center.

USA Goes For Gold

It only comes around once every four years, when athletes don’t focus on money, but instead, they turn their attention to earning medals for their country. Only time will tell if the USA hockey team can earn gold. I enjoy the olympics because it’s about the nation and the pride the athletes show. The Winter Olympics begin tonight at 6:30 PM on NBC.

Patrick to Make Debut

Daytona: Danika Patrick will be pulling double duty this season, along with the IRL, she will be on the Junior Motor sports team. Starting in Daytona Patrick will be driving the car sponsored by GoDaddy.com. This will be an interesting story to follow.
