Indianapolis, Indiana. What we heard last night was disappointing and exhilarating. There are two angles that Pacers fans can look at. Why in heavens name did we have a 12 point lead at the end of the 1st quarter and let it go? Also, why did Frank have to be so animated and get thrown out of the game? Tell me that son! Why did you guys let up and go down by 20 points, and then in the 4th quarter miraculously come back after being down by 20 points? You see what tightening the screws defensively can do. Paul is becoming the new Reggie Miller. Paul is like Curious George. Even though the rest of the Pacers seemed lifeless, he was not! He hit a couple of big 3 point baskets. Listening to Slick and Mark you could tell they didn’t think it was possible. There is a lesson to be learned from last night’s game, which is never underestimate the heart of the Pacers! Going into the playoffs should be fun. I think that last night’s experience will carry over for the players and the fans as well. Just listening to the game made me feel like I was at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. The way Slick was acting, you could tell that he would have liked to be on the bench with the guys! Also, to hear him say “BOOM BABY” when Paul hit the three pointer. How good does it get?
