Minneapolis, MN. Many of you might remember last year when I had a chance to talk to the Tigers’ radio team, Dan Dickerson, and former 1968 World Champion and former catcher behind the dish, Jim Price.  Well tonight before the Tigers and Twins tee it up for game number one of a three game weekend series, I had a chance to go one on one with the newest member of the Twins family.  We are proud to introduce former Milwaukee Brewers color commentator, Cory Provus.  Provus used to announce with Milwaukee legend Bob Uecker.  Cory also announced for the Cubs before coming to Twins territory, where he replaced Twins legend John Gordon.  He teams up with former ’87, and ’91 World Champion Dan Gladden.  He says of Gladden, “he brings a welcome knowledge about the Minnesota Twins.” You can hear Gladden and Provus on the Treasure Island baseball network, which extends well beyond Minnesota.  His favorite ballpark to announce in beside Target Field is Wrigley Field.  Provus said, “I love the ivy in the summertime.”
