The Bismarck Bobcats and the Owatonna Express stand one series away from playing for hockey’s ultimate prize, the right to be crowned National Champions.  The keys for the Bobcats in this series are to lock down Stephen Carew and Dan Cecka, and to get more production on the powerplay (last series the Bismarck Bobcats had a woeful powerplay), and get production out of Nicholas Jensen and Will Aide.

The two things that I was most impressed with was how the Bobcats showed the capability to go on the road and shut Alexandria down, and
Matt Grogan, who in game 4 stopped Alexandria’s star players.

Another key for the Bobcats is once the get a 1-0 lead in series, focus on game two, and don’t think that because you have a 1-0 lead it is going to be easy (that’s how Alexandria stole a game; the Bobcats were overconfident and cocky).  Another key is to come to the rink with a workman-like attitude and outwork the Express.  The ‘Cats have got to have two goalies that are ready to take the Bobcats to the next level.  The minute that Owatonna comes in and steals a game from the Bobcats, the more confidence that gives them.
