Baltimore – It was time for George Steinbrenner and one of baseball’s most storied franchises to begin their season at Camden Yards in Baltimore.  On the mound for the Yankees was the newly acquired CC Sabathia, and on the mound for “The Birds” was Jeremy Guthrie.  The “Pin-Stripers” took out an early 1-0 lead and didn’t waste time for Sabathia to take to the hill, but in the bottom of the third Sabathia got tattooed as a Baltimore hitter scored a 3-1 lead.  Sabathia had no fast-ball whatsoever yesterday.  He was not locating his pitches in the strike zone, so the “O” could easily hit them.  MLB is all about good pitching and good hitting.  CC falls to a record of 0-1, while Guthrie and the Orioles goes to a record of 1-0.  This series will continue in Baltimore tomorrow night, when the Yankees look to even the series.  Here are the probable pitchers for tomorrow night’s game two of the season/series: Chien-Ming Wang for the Yankees and Koji Uehara for the Orioles.
