With the Bismarck Bobcats clearly in the driver’s seat after taking games one and two with the Aberdeen Wings, here is what I think you can expect for games three and four. You can expect Travis Winter to make some major adjustments to counter the Bobcats, but if you are Layne Sedevie you will keep your game plan solid, and see what you need to do in between periods. If you are Aaron Nelson, just keep your head on straight, and keep talking to your defense. You will also have to rely on Alex, Cullen Wilox, and Dan Kovar. You guys must keep listening to your coaches and follow their lead, because they know what they are doing. So far so good. They have us currently up two games to none, so hopefully we can put the Wings in a strangle hold. The key with any series is good goal tending, and so far the Bobcats have gotten an “A” in goal tending.

Meanwhile, the Aberdeen Wings have gotten a “D” to an “F” for goal tending, and I think that is why their season is on life support right now. So all the Bobcats have to do right now is play a good solid 60 minutes of good hockey in both games this weekend, and move on to possibly face my nemesis the Austin Bruins. I say that because not only did the Bruins hurt one of Bismarck’s all star players, they also don’t know what it is like to be a champion like we do. I also think that their coaching staff can be a real pain in the rear end. Same with their PA guy. I think that because they played the song “We Are the Champions” at the wrong time. I can’t wait to tackle Chris in the playoffs. Chris vs Layne!
