Topeka, KS. Just like in Bismarck, it seems like just a week ago the Bobcats were in the very same situation. They were up two games to one with a chance to skate with the Central Division Cup on their home ice. But Brian Bachnak had other plans. As we all know by now, Layne and Garrett were taken to game five and quickly dethroned. And now, Scott and the Roadrunners are tied with Chris and Brian at one, but this time for something bigger, the right to go to Frisco on the line. There is only one game separating one group of men from going to Texas. Will it be Chris’s year for two titles, or will it be former Bobcat Scott Langer’s year to run away with two titles with PJ and the rest of his men? Only 60 minutes separates his team from battling with a group of Dogs. Or will they face someone else from the Northern Division, or will they face the Michigan Warriors? We don’t know. One would assume it would be the Dogs, because they have been nothing but a powerhouse all season long. I would give the edge to Brian and Lukas and Sam because of what I have seen first hand. They have the capability of getting in the Roadrunner’s heads and getting them off their game. And their fans travel all the way from Austin, Minnesota wherever their team goes. And they bring bells and they like to irritate you. Just ask someone who has been through the war first-hand. The Bruins fans are fun to play with and they are a first class organization. Good luck to Chris and the Bruins.
