Bismarck North Dakota:

Even though I felt that I was back in my home state last night, the loss to “The” Ohio State University Buckeyes on their home court isn’t so bad in my opinion. Every team faces adversity now and then, and it’s how you handle it that will make or break your season.

While I am disapointed, I am not disheartened by the loss. Whether you like it or not, Andrew Dakich wanted this game more. The Bloomington, Indiana native outplayed his home state rivals at Mackey Arena and quieted Boilermaker Nation, which will rise again. As for the team themselves, I think that they will be better for it, knowing that they need to be ready for any opponent that they will be facing in their five remaining conference games.

Head Coach of the Boilermakers, Matt Painter, is a heck of an engineer who will have the boys ready for their visit to East Lansing, Michigan, this Saturday to face # 4 ranked Michigan State. The Spartans are currently one game behind first place Purdue and Ohio State.

jeremiahboyce.com will follow the happenings in East Lansing and Columbus, Ohio, this weekend, to see where Purdue will be sitting in the Big Ten standings with both Michigan State and Ohio State.
