Aberdeen, SD. After a debacle on Friday not, in which the Bobcats scored one lousy goal, on Saturday night, they came out like caged animals. It all started with GI Joe, as he got into a fight with the Wings, and from there the momentum was on the Bobcats’ side. I’m not saying that a fight is good in any way. But that skirmish seemed to wake up the guys and carry the momentum for the rest of the night. Aberdeen scored four goals, but not enough goals to overcome the ferociousness of the Bobcats. It will be interesting to see if the momentum from Aberdeen is still with the Bobcats when I sit down and have a chat with Garrett Roth to see how they plan to attack their nemesis, the Minotauros. Sometimes having only one game in a week can be beneficial, but it can also backfire on you. It all dependa on how the boys practice, and how coach Sedevie can push the right buttons. What I heard on Saturday night gave me hope that the Bobars are returning to championship form. Instead letting Friday’s loss sit in their minds and letting Aberdeen get four points, they were able to keep the damage to a minimum and net a much needed two points with the Bobcats’ win on Saturday. That win catapulted the four-time Central Division champs to second place.
