On Friday night the Bismarck Bobcats dominated every aspect of the game on their way to a 4-1 win at the world’s greatest hockey arena. Then on Saturday it was a totally different story against the Aberdeen Wings. Aberdeen beat the Bobcats 4-2. The Bobcats play the very same team in Aberdeen on Saturday, February 7th. So today I went and talked to Jared Pike and Jared Turcotte. We talked about what it feels like when the Bobcats go to another building and when they play really well. Pike and Turcotte both talked to the Sheriff’s Patrol about how much fun it is to go into the other team’s building and score a goal and take the crowd out of it. Jared Pike and Jared Turcotte also talked about how little time they have on the ice for communication. They communicate once they get back to the Bobcats bench. They talked about how it is difficult to communicate on the ice because a play could break down at any moment and when you are on defense that can be very bad for the team. Jared Turcotte is from Los Angeles, California the Sheriff’s Patrol asked him and Jared Pike if they would like to play another year for the Bobcats, and they both said excitedly yes!
