Bismarck, ND. For those of you who will read this post, the following makes me sick. When the Bobcats are having a bad night on the ice, and their fans are encouraging them to do the wrong thing, then the question is, why did you choose to sit your blankety-blanks down and allegedly support the gentlemen who wear the uniform? You gave your city a black eye with what you did last night. I could see if this was Sidney Crosby or Niklas Lidstrom on the ice, but we are talking about gentlemen who are 17 to 21 years old, and who on several given nights have given their hearts to you. And then you have the wherewithall to buy a ticket and have a few choice words for the team that I love. Bismarck, if you realized what coach Layne Sedevie and owner Thom Brigl have to go through to bring their product to us year after year, maybe you would think twice about the way you react. The message you send from the stands affects the product you see on the ice. If you buy a ticket, you should say “Let’s go Bobcats” even if the result you were expecting doesn’t come to fruition. Bismarck, I will be watching you the next time I attend a Bobcat game. I am a Robertson Cup champion, I am a sheriff, I am a member of the team, and I am a staff writer for the Bobcats. That’s why what you did night really hurt me.
