Bismarck VFW Sports Center, for the Bismarck Bobcats it was time to begin round two in the quest for  hockey’s ultimate title, the National Championship. The Bismarck Bobcats showed the Express that they meant business, pouncing on the Express early and often.

Bismarck exploded for three goals early in the first period. The first goal was scored by Bismarck ‘s  leading scorer, #14 Cody Keefer, assist going to  Nicholas Jensen and Alex Gerke. Bismarck would double their lead to two – nothing on a goal by #12 Kevin Harris, assisted by Jason Fabian. Continuing their lead Bismarck would make it three – nothing, with a goal by #17  Joel Lundstrom, assists going to Tim Serratore and Alex Olson.   Continuing their pressure however the Express would spoil the shut out the goalie #1 David Bosner, when the Express would find the back of the net. The Bismrck Bobcats would put the game to bed in the first period and sealing the deal in the third with a goal by #7 Casey Klisinger.

The Bobcats now stand two wins away from going to Masion City, Iowa and playing in the Nationals.
One game to nothing, they look to take a two-nothing lead Saturday night 7 pm at the VFW Sports Center when the two teams battle in game two.
