Austin, Minnesota. With the playoffs hanging in the balance, this weekend is a big test for the Bobcats, mentally and physically. Garrett Roth said it best in his weekly sit down with the Sheriff’s Patrol. Coach Roth stated “we don’t really know what kind of team we have, because a lot of our top guns have been out on injury”. Garrett and Layne have been looking up at Chris and Jamie all year long, and coach Roth reminded us that there are still 19 games left, and an opportunity to get 12 more points. With that comes the opportunity to once again claim the title for a sixth time. Aaron Nelson seemed unshaken when I had him on the Sheriff’s Patrol. I think that is the kind of veteran leadership you need from your Captain, and one of your best goalies. I think that the Bobcats should have the ability to block the crowd out, and just focus on the game, and believe in each other. Whoever Coach Sedevie puts in the net for this weekend is going to have to trust his defense, because you cannot allow Austin to pull away. You want to make Riverside be quiet so that the players can hear Layne talk to them. It all starts with game one tonight, and these guys must play for their logo, and the city that they represent. We are one nation that sticks together, and that is Bobcat nation! We can’t let the Bruins get in our way. The Bobcats must play for the city that we all love.
