Fargo ND. The Bison are national champs and they are in pursuit of another one. You would think that they would have been on tv all throughout the playoffs. I am not complaining about the fact that they are finally on tv, I’m very happy that tomorrow’s game is on tv but I would like to investigate what the deal is with ESPN 3? Because to me it’s ridiculous that the people in Bristol don’t use one of their other networks like ESPN 1 or 2. Instead, the game has been on channels that the Sheriff doesn’t get. So tomorrow night I get to cover the Bison along with the Bobcats in Minot. If you want to follow along with the Sheriff, you can listen to the Bison on one of two stations, KFYR radio AM 550 or 710 KXMR AM. It will be interesting to follow the Bison on tv and trying to keep a ear on Paul and the Bobcats on the Super talk 1270 AM KLXX. As soon the Bison hunt down the Eagles, you can look for stories on both teams over the weekend on my website. I’m not a big fan of ESPN 3. Here are the sheriff’s keys to a Bison win. Key number one is going to be number 16 Brock Jensen, a junior at NDSU. He is going to have to step up and not throw interceptions, and he is going to have to have his head on right, and do not over shoot his receivers.
Now key number two is for number 22 Sam Ojuri, also a junior running back. He needs to be aggressive, and when given the ball, and he needs to hold on with both hands and take what the Eagles give him. Marcus Williams when you see a Eagle you need to hit them and wrap them up. It’s going to take all hands on deck to shoot down the Eagles. Here is my prediction. Although I would like to think it would be like last year, I know that the Eagles are embarrassed about last year, so I would expect them to come out and make it a close game. When you look at my keys to the game I’m not going to predict it will be like last year’s game in Fargo. But I will predict that the Bison will go two stepping in Frisco. My final score will be Bison 24 and Eagles 20. It’s going to be a fun game to watch.
