On Wednesday, the Sheriff’s Patrol met with Bismarck Bobcats Assistant Coach Garrett Roth to talk about his perspective on what went down behind the Bobcats bench during Saturday’s 4-3 loss to the Minnesota Wilderness. Coach Roth told us that the Bobcats needed to figure out what the deal was in the first and second period with their play, but was very satisfied with their play in the third period, when they scored the last three goals of the game in a five minute time frame. The Bobcats need to figure out how to play better in the first and second period and be more consistent throughout the whole game. We have spurts of five to six minutes where we struggle and we need to shorten those times, which will lead to a winning effort.

The Sheriff’s Patrol hopes that more consistent play and effort will eventually lead to defending their NAHL Central Division title.
